Strachan Soccer Schools launch 12-16 Years Olds Development Centres
Strachan Football Foundation 12-16 year olds player development centres on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from January 2012.
The Development Centres will be ran from 4pm-6pm held at Rugby Town FC, Butlin Road 3G Astro facility.
The centres are designed to develop players who are currently playing for saturday and sunday league football teams.

- FA level 1 to UEFA Pro Licenced Coaches
- 1 Coach to 4 player ratio
- 3G Astro turf and safe environment to learn.

Strachan Football Foundation have coaches with a variety of playing and coaching experience.
George Mackie Head Coach, holds the prestigious UEFA Pro Coaching Licence and has experience of coaching at the top level of the professional game, George is a coach of great experience and has developed a player development programme for SFF .
Gavin Strachan , Director of Football is employed full time at Peterborough Utd Football Club as a youth team coach within their academy. Gavin offers SFF advice on curriculum, player development and is a director of the SFF. Gavin currently holds the UEFA “B” and working through the UEFA “A” Licence with the Scottish FA.
Dan Elliott , UEFA “B” licence football coach and holder of the FA Youth Coaches Award with experience of academy football in the UK and USA, Dan is a qualified FA Tutor and have over 15 years of grass roots and elite player coaching experience.
Chay Thompson , An FA Level 2 coach, Chay passed his level 2 with high praise of the Birmingham FA at 17 years old, Chay is a very good young coach with excellent technical detail is a lead coach within Strachan Soccer Schools and a mentor to other apprentice coaches in their coaching placements.
Jim Thwaites , A FA level 2 qualified coach and level 1 Goalkeeping coach, Jim has a strong footballing CV at the age of 18 , he is a regular volunteer for events held by the Birmingham FA and has been involved in a number FA young leader projects.
The Development Centres will be ran on a pay as you play basis from Rugby Town FC, Butlin Road , Rugby on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 4-5 and 5-6. The sessions will cost £2.50 for a 1 hour session.
All sessions will focus on individual player development, refining skills and understanding of playing football.
